Description
​
As a starting point, we will discuss the material makeup of cultural objects as a launching point to address material degradation mechanisms, assess the state of object preservation, and explore various strategies to evaluate and mitigate change in artworks. Topics will range from understanding the museum environment (temperature, relative humidity, and light) to the impact of vibrations on the transport of artworks.
